Who we are
HuntAPic is made by Mete Serpil, an independent developer in Turkey, who is responsible for your data (the "data controller" under KVKK and the GDPR). Contact: support@huntapic.com.
What we collect
Account: when you continue with Apple, our sign-in provider Clerk receives your Apple account id and the email Apple shares (you can hide it with "Hide My Email"). We keep only an internal id linked to it.
Profile: the display name you choose, your birth year (to check you are at least 13), your avatar and frame, your time zone and app language.
Game data: rooms you play in, the prompts, your scores, the ratings you give, your coins, shop items, badges, streaks, friends, blocks and reports.
Photos: the photos you take in a game, with the time they were taken. We never ask for your location and do not read it from photos.
Device: a random id made by the app and, if you allow notifications, a push token.
Purchases: whether you have Premium and which coin packs you bought, as reported by Apple and our purchase provider RevenueCat. We never see your card.
Ads (free players): Google AdMob may use your device’s advertising id only if you allow tracking when your phone asks; otherwise ads are not personalised.
Security: your IP address is used for a short time to stop abuse (rate limits) and may appear in server logs.
How we use it
To run the game: rooms, rounds, ratings, scores, friends, invites and notifications you turn on (legal basis: our contract with you).
To keep players safe: every party photo is checked automatically for nudity and violence before anyone sees it, and staff review reported photos and players (legitimate interest).
To show ads to free players and to sell Premium and coin packs (contract; consent for personalised ads).
We do not sell your data and we do not use your photos for advertising or to train AI.
Who sees your photos
Only the players in that game, after the last round, so they can rate them. Players you block never see your photos, and you never see theirs.
Party photos are deleted from our servers about 60 minutes after the game ends, so save the ones you want before then.
Services we use
Fly.io (servers), Neon (database), Upstash (game timers) and Cloudflare R2 (photo storage), all in the EU (Frankfurt) where available; Clerk (sign-in, USA); OpenAI (automatic photo safety check, USA; under OpenAI’s API terms the photos are not used for training); Expo (push notifications); Apple and RevenueCat (purchases); Google AdMob (ads).
Some of these are in the USA, so your data may be transferred outside Turkey and the EU, protected by the providers’ standard contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
Party photos: about 60 minutes after the game. Unfinished uploads: one hour.
Your account: until you delete it. After you delete it in Settings, it is hidden at once and erased for good after 30 days (you can restore it until then).
Data export files: their download link works for one hour and the file is deleted within a day.
Your rights
You can download all your data (Settings > Download my data) and delete your account (Settings > Delete account) in the app.
You can also ask us to see, correct or erase your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to support@huntapic.com. Under KVKK you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), and in the EU to your local data protection authority.
Children
HuntAPic is for people aged 13 and over. We ask for your birth year and do not let younger players sign up. If you think a child under 13 has an account, write to us and we will delete it.
